The Construction Manager/Director is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating our housing construction, rehabilitation and repairs.
This position is essential to support and fulfill the mission of Aiken County Habitat for Humanity (ACHFH). This position is exempt to overtime as a professional.
Applicant must be or able to become a licensed home builder.
Must be OSHA certified or a Competent Person OR capable of becoming certified as either. Must have excellent organizational and project management skills. Position includes scheduling, planning, procurement, working with subcontractors, site selection, working with architects, zoning, building permits, site management and the unique opportunity of working with volunteers. Must create and maintain organized, orderly reports and plans, schedules and budgets. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have excellent computer skills. Must be able to communicate with volunteers, donors, board members and customers effectively. Hours worked are reflective of each house schedule and includes preparation and planning time.
