Ways in Which Organizations and Their Employees/Members Can Join the Aiken County Habitat for Humanity Family in Our Mission to Provide Affordable Housing
Donations of building products to new construction projects. All material for a new home construction is needed.
Donations of new and used construction and home renovation materials to Habitat. ReStores, ends-of-line, scratch-and-dent, discontinued inventory, product over-runs or returns-to-vendor. An inventive way to reduce your “waste” management bill.
Employee/corporate team building days, on Habitat building sites. You and your colleagues could “adopt a day” of a house build by providing the volunteer labor and a small percentage of the cost by means of a donation. Truly an experience your staff will never forget.
Employee-led fundraising projects. Suggestions include charity golf tournaments, bonspiels, raffles, black tie dinners, ballroom dances, comedy/talent shows, children’s picnics, corporate garage sales… and so on.
Payroll charitable deductions and corporate matching donations.
Co-Sponsor a house for local Habitat approved Low-Income Family.
A sponsorship of a home in our community, with volunteer opportunities.
Open doors to other corporations — rally your business associates to support Habitat for Humanity.
Loan ACHFH an employee(s) to provide administration assistance and training and assist in fundraising campaigns.
Provide land donation suitable for Habitat home construction in partnership with private owners, developers, other community groups or various levels of government.
ReStore in-kind donations and volunteer staff to work inside the store.
